Every functional claim Recovery+ makes traces to published, peer-reviewed research, linked on this page, so you can read what we read. Our standard is simple: use the amounts published research actually studied, and never claim past the evidence.

That last part matters. We will never tell you a can treats a disease, cures a deficiency, or replaces a doctor. What we will do is show you the science we built on, and let you check it.

Calm focus: the caffeine + L-theanine pair

The AM can's 74mg of lab-measured caffeine is paired with 270mg L-theanine, almost four times more theanine than caffeine. The 2.5g glycine story

The PM can carries 2.5g of lab-measured glycine, just under the 3g used in published pre-bed research. In trials, participants taking this dose before bed reported better-rested mornings, including under deliberate sleep restriction2; mechanism work links glycine to the body's natural pre-sleep cooling process3.

Fibre and the gut

Both cans carry prebiotic fibre, ~15g in the AM can, about half a day's target, and ~6g in the PM can, the class of fibre defined by its ability to reach the colon intact and feed beneficial gut bacteria4. A 2024 meta-analysis of 17 randomized trials found this fibre type supports regularity at daily doses in exactly this range5.

Minerals that actually arrive

India loves the forms debate: citrate versus oxide, chelated versus not, this superior grade against that one. The debate skips the real opponent, the Indian plate: cereal-heavy meals are rich in phytates and chai stacks tannins on top, and both bind minerals in the gut before your body gets its chance1213. Minerals only work if they're absorbed, and published testing has caught entire batches of mineral tablets failing to even dissolve6. India's protein gap

The largest dietary study ever run in India, the ICMR-INDIAB survey, published in Nature Medicine, found the Indian plate is roughly 62% carbohydrate and only ~12% protein8. Protein quality compounds the problem: cereal proteins run short of lysine, the amino acid Indian researchers have shown adults specifically need9.

Do you make medical claims?

No, and we never will. Recovery+ is a food, not a medicine: it doesn't treat, cure or prevent any condition. What we claim is what the label and the linked research can back, and nothing more.

Why do you keep pointing at doses?

Because doses are where this industry plays games. Where we make a functional claim, the caffeine + L-theanine pair, the 2.5g glycine, the prebiotic fibre, the amount in the can sits in the range the cited research used. Check us on it.

Is the full formula published?

The complete FSSAI-compliant ingredient list is printed on every can, as regulation requires. The formulation architecture itself is the work we spent years on, and it stays ours, but every claim we make publicly is checkable against the label and the citations here.
